We run a range of mountaineering and climbing courses and winter skills weekends in Colorado. These courses are designed for specific trips. If you are thinking of climbing Island peak or Mera Peak, Mount Elbrus, Denali, Ama Dablam we will design the content around your chosen trip. We can take a maximum of 4 people on these courses. They need to be booked well in advance. All courses are based out of Boulder Colorado.
We can manage one, two and three day training courses in Colorado.
These courses will help you understand the specific skill set needed to be safe and successful on your chosen adventure. We can also run private group training and can tailor training to your specific needs. 1 Person $500 per day, 2 People $450 per person, per day. 3 People $400 per person per day. 4+ People $375 per person, per day.

Learning the Necessary Skills
Today we will cover basic safety for your chosen adventure. Our guides will teach basic climbing knots and how to move as a roped team. You will also who to rappel using a figure of 8 or ATC. We will teach ascending on a jumar, transitioning around Anchor points in a safe manor. You will learn how to belay, how to move over rock and top roping.
Putting the skills into play
Today you will multi pitch climbing day and this will be managed on a 2:1 client to guide ratio. You will review all climbing knots, belaying and rappelling. It is really important to get to grips with moving between fixed lines using safety lines and rappelling using a figure of 8 and additional mountaineering techniques and crevasse rescue.
