We had a great experience on our EBC trek. Our guides were phenomenal and did a great job educating us on the region and the Sherpa culture. The itinerary was also great for acclimation. I trekked the Lemosho route of Kilimanjaro in Feb 2022 with Ian Taylor the man himself and it was a brilliant experience. Everything runs really smoothly, you get the right number of days to acclimatise, the food is excellent, the advice is from years of experience, the guides are really encouraging and good fun, and the whole operations crew from porters to the kitchen are like a big family. They always have a smile on their faces and you can see that they are looked after well. Summiting was a brilliant experience. Summit night is tough so you need to put in the recommended training beforehand. Ian provides detailed advice that’ll help you get to the top, from water intake to pacing and acclimatisation. I’d highly recommend the safari after the trek and staying at the farmhouse lodge while on safari. The lodge is a high end lodge on a 600 acre coffee plantation and a great place to go on safari from. Laura was really helpful with booking my trip and answering any questions I had. If you want a really good chance of summiting at Kilimanjaro while having fun doing so, then Ian Taylor Trekking is for you.

Adventure of a lifetime!! Was my son's dream to summit Kilimanjaro and the Ian Taylor team was absolutely amazing. The staff were so welcoming, engaging and kept things fun the whole way. The food they produced out of such a small cook tent was spectacular. The addition of the Ngorongoro Crater safari was so worth it. The whole experience was life changing and one we will never forget. Thanks Ian Taylor and the entire ITT team!!

I have now had the pleasure of using Ian Taylor's trekking company for an Everest Base Camp trek, a Machu Picchu trek and most recently, a Kilimanjaro trek. Having now seen and experienced Ian Taylor Trekking on three different continents, I cannot imagine that any other company could do it better.
