We have 3 main Patagonia Treks. All of these Patagonia treks include a visit to Torres del Paine National Park. Torres Del Pain is located in southern Chile and is best known as a trekkers paradise. Its most famous hike involves a demanding 31-mile walk up and down the park’s valleys to see its most famous sights. The route takes the shape of a “W”, hence the name W Trek.

The W trek

The W Trek

Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the breathtaking landscapes of Patagonia with our expertly guided trekking tours. In our expert opinion, the French Valley stands out as the pinnacle of natural beauty along the iconic W Trek route within Torres Del Paine National Park. The W Trek, renowned for its awe-inspiring vistas, also showcases the iconic granite towers that have made the park world-famous. To fully immerse yourself in this unparalleled trekking experience, we recommend selecting a comprehensive five-day itinerary.

Our service offers more support on camping treks supported by knowledgeable guides and dedicated porters, ensuring a seamless and enriching journey through one of Patagonia’s most cherished treasures.

The unique W trek in Torres del Paine includes amazing views of the Grey glacier, the unique French valley and the stunning Torres towers. The hike to the Torres towers is rated difficult/strenuous and has an elevation gain of 901m/ 2,956 feet. This is just one day of the trek so you need to physically prepared for this adventure.

Join Us

We run a small number of Patagonia treks each year. Our W trek is the most popular trek. We also run the O trek or the full circuit trek which encompasses the full W trek and takes in the backside of Torres Del Paine National Park and crosses the John Gardner Pass with unique views of the southern Patagonia Icefield. We also run a full Patagonia experience that includes visits to El Calafate and the famous Fitzroy mountain range in El Chalten in Argentina.

Torres del Paine in Patagonia was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO and the eighth wonder of the world in 2013.  Torres del Paine National Park is undoubtedly a world-class tourist attraction with unique mountain viewing at every turn. The National Park has it all, sweeping glaciers, massive granite walls, 10,000 foot peaks, serene landscape and extreme’s in weather.

Looking to See Penguins

You will not see any Penguins in Torres Del Paine National Park, but you can take a day or half-day trip from Punta Arenas to Isla Magdalena and walk among them. It is worth spending more time in this region of Chile to experience more of this magical place.

What is the Best Time of Year to Trek Torres Del Paine?

You can start a trek in Torres Del Paine in November and trek through mid April. I personally like March into early April. The best time to visit Torres Del Paine will be October through April.

Torres Del Paine will look different in different seasons. Patagonia reveals its true colors through springtime blossoms and fall foliage. And since they’re the shoulder seasons, the crowds are fewer to immerse yourself more in nature.
