Excellent leg strength and core stability are essential for steep ascents and descents. Incorporate HIIT training to build power and stability. Long endurance hikes, ideally up and down hills, should be part of your weekly routine. If hills are not accessible, long bike rides or varied gym sessions can suffice.

Aim for 6 -12+ hours of training per week, gradually increasing weight and duration. After two months, add weight training for your quads, calves, and core. In the final two months, integrate interval training while maintaining endurance training.
