Deposit Overview
For most of our treks and expeditions, a deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place on the trip. Deposits are due immediately upon registration and confirmation.
In most cases, the final balance is due approximately two months prior to the trip start date.
Standard Deposit Amount
For the majority of our treks, the deposit is $500 per person USD. This applies to:
- Everest Base Camp (EBC)
- Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)
- Annapurna Circuit
- All Nepal treks (unless otherwise specified)
- Kilimanjaro
- Mount Toubkal
Special Deposit Requirements
Certain destinations require higher deposits due to permits, climbing logistics, or advance operational costs. A deposit of $1,000 USD applies to:
- Inca Trail (due to required government permits)
- Patagonia treks
- Climbing expeditions including:
- Lobuche
- Mera Peak
- Mera & Lobuche combination
- Cotopaxi
- Cotopaxi / Chimborazo combination
A deposit of $1,500 USD applies to:
- Aconcagua expeditions
Final Payment Timeline
In general:
- Deposits are due immediately upon booking
- Final balances are typically due two months prior to the trip start date
