Effective Date: August 6, 2026
These Terms of Use & Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ian Taylor Trekking website, your purchase of products or services through the website, and your access to online products offered by Ian Taylor Trekking, LLC (“Ian Taylor Trekking,” “ITT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using this website, creating an account, submitting a form, purchasing a product, or accessing a paid online program, you agree to these Terms and any additional terms that apply to the particular trip, product, or service.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not purchase or use the applicable product or service.
These Terms do not replace any separate booking agreement, participant agreement, release, waiver, insurance requirement, or other documentation that applies to an Ian Taylor Trekking trip.
1. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep information on this website accurate and current. However, trekking schedules, availability, prices, itineraries, accommodations, regulations, entry requirements, weather conditions, route conditions, and other information may change.
Website content is provided for general informational purposes unless expressly incorporated into a specific contract or purchase.
We may correct errors, update information, or change website content at any time.
2. Trip Information and Bookings
Information about ITT treks and expeditions is intended to help prospective participants understand available trips.
A website inquiry, email exchange, provisional reservation, or similar communication does not by itself constitute a confirmed trip booking unless ITT expressly confirms otherwise.
Trip participation may be subject to separate requirements including deposits, signed booking documentation, participant agreements, insurance requirements, medical or fitness considerations, passport and visa requirements, final payments, and other trip-specific conditions.
Where separate trip documentation conflicts with these general Terms, the trip-specific documentation controls for that trip.
3. Accounts
Some website services and products require an ITT customer account.
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate account information;
- maintaining the confidentiality of your password and login credentials;
- keeping your email address current;
- promptly notifying ITT if you believe your account has been compromised; and
- activity conducted through your account.
Accounts and paid-program access are personal and may not be transferred or shared unless ITT expressly permits otherwise.
4. Online Purchases
Prices displayed on the website are shown in the currency identified at checkout.
Unless otherwise stated:
- payment is due at checkout;
- orders are subject to successful payment authorization;
- ITT may decline or cancel an order affected by fraud, payment failure, pricing error, technical error, or another legitimate issue;
- discounts and promotional codes have no cash value; and
- discounts may not be combined unless expressly permitted.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing and contact information.
Applicable taxes, if any, will be shown during checkout.
Trek-Ready Program Terms
5. About Trek-Ready
Trek-Ready: 12-Week Trek Training Program (“Trek-Ready” or the “Program”) is a self-guided online training and educational program intended to help participants prepare for the physical and practical demands of supported trekking.
The Program may include:
- structured weekly training;
- aerobic and endurance guidance;
- strength training;
- uphill and loaded-walking preparation;
- recovery guidance;
- fueling and hydration education;
- equipment and trek-preparation guidance;
- exercise demonstrations and supporting resources;
- print-friendly weekly training pages; and
- access to the Trek-Ready Assistant.
Trek-Ready is educational and self-guided.
It is not individualized coaching, personal training, physical therapy, medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or another form of healthcare service.
6. One Purchaser, One User
A Trek-Ready purchase is licensed for the personal use of one purchaser and one user.
You may not:
- share your Program login;
- permit another person to use your account;
- redistribute Program materials;
- reproduce substantial portions of the Program for others;
- resell Program access; or
- make Program content publicly available.
7. Price and Program Access
Trek-Ready is sold as a one-time purchase and does not require a recurring subscription.
Your purchase includes lifetime access.
For purposes of these Terms, lifetime access means access for the lifetime of the Trek-Ready Program while the Program continues to be operated by Ian Taylor Trekking.
ITT may update, improve, reorganize, replace, or modify the Program over time. Lifetime access does not require ITT to preserve every feature, exercise, layout, technology, or version indefinitely.
8. Booked-Client Discounts
ITT may provide eligible booked clients with discounted access to Trek-Ready.
Eligibility is determined by ITT.
Discount codes:
- are intended only for the eligible recipient;
- may be restricted to a specific email address;
- may be limited to one use;
- may apply only to Trek-Ready;
- may not be transferred or sold; and
- may not be combined with other offers unless ITT expressly permits it.
ITT may revoke or replace a code issued in error or used contrary to its intended purpose.
9. Health, Exercise, and Assumption of Risk
Exercise, hiking, strength training, endurance training, uphill training, loaded walking, and related activities involve inherent and sometimes unpredictable risks.
Risks may include, among other things:
- falls;
- strains and sprains;
- musculoskeletal injuries;
- fractures;
- overexertion;
- cardiovascular events;
- aggravation of existing medical conditions;
- heat or cold illness;
- dehydration; and
- other serious injury or illness.
Trekking itself may involve additional hazards including altitude, weather, uneven terrain, remoteness from medical care, illness, environmental conditions, and prolonged physical exertion.
You voluntarily decide whether and how to participate in any activity described in Trek-Ready.
You are responsible for determining whether an activity is appropriate for your health, fitness, experience, environment, equipment, and circumstances.
10. Your Health and Medical Responsibility
ITT does not individually evaluate your health, medical history, physical abilities, movement technique, training response, or personal risk factors through Trek-Ready.
You should seek appropriate healthcare advice if you have questions or concerns regarding your ability to exercise safely, an injury, symptoms, a medical condition, medication, pregnancy, or any other health circumstance relevant to exercise.
Do not use Trek-Ready contrary to advice provided by an appropriate healthcare professional.
If you experience symptoms or circumstances that may require urgent or emergency medical attention, seek appropriate medical assistance rather than relying on the Program or Trek-Ready Assistant.
11. No Individual Coaching
Trek-Ready does not include:
- individualized programming;
- personal training;
- one-to-one coaching;
- individualized movement assessment;
- medical assessment;
- routine review of your training; or
- routine direct access to ITT staff.
The Program may provide general ways to adapt sessions based on factors such as terrain, equipment, schedule, experience, or recovery.
Such information remains general educational guidance and does not create an individualized coaching relationship.
12. Trek-Ready Assistant
The Trek-Ready Assistant is an AI-enabled support resource built specifically around the Trek-Ready Program and related ITT guidance.
It may help you:
- navigate the Program;
- locate relevant information;
- understand Program concepts;
- identify appropriate Program resources;
- ask questions in your own words; and
- access Program support at any time.
The Trek-Ready Assistant is not a human coach, healthcare professional, emergency service, or substitute for appropriate professional advice.
AI-generated responses can occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, misunderstood, or inappropriate to an individual user’s circumstances.
You remain responsible for evaluating information before acting on it, particularly where health, injury, medication, altitude, safety, or other consequential matters are involved.
The Trek-Ready Assistant does not provide individualized coaching, medical diagnosis, treatment, or personalized training prescriptions.
13. Human Support
Routine Trek-Ready Program support is provided through the Trek-Ready Assistant and the Trek-Ready support system.
ITT staff may become involved when an issue reasonably requires human attention, including:
- account-access problems;
- billing issues;
- payment problems;
- technical failures;
- security issues; or
- other exceptional administrative matters.
Purchasing Trek-Ready does not provide routine access to ITT staff or direct coaching.
14. No Guarantee of Results
ITT does not guarantee:
- any particular fitness improvement;
- any particular training response;
- avoidance of injury;
- successful trek completion;
- summit success;
- altitude tolerance; or
- any other specific outcome.
Training outcomes vary based on many factors, including your starting point, health, consistency, recovery, training history, environment, execution, injury, illness, equipment, and circumstances outside ITT’s control.
Actual trek outcomes may also be affected by altitude, weather, route conditions, pacing, illness, travel disruption, individual physiology, and other factors.
Trek-Ready is intended to improve the structure and quality of preparation. It cannot eliminate the uncertainty inherent in exercise or trekking.
15. Exercise Modifications and Substitutions
The Program may offer exercise substitutions, progressions, regressions, alternative conditioning modes, and other modifications.
These are general educational options and are not a determination that a specific activity is appropriate or safe for you.
You remain responsible for selecting activities appropriate to your circumstances.
16. Intellectual Property and Personal Use
All website and Trek-Ready materials—including text, training plans, graphics, photographs, videos, exercise demonstrations, layouts, downloadable materials, and other content—are owned by or licensed to ITT unless otherwise stated.
Your purchase grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Trek-Ready for your own training and preparation.
You may print pages that ITT makes available for printing for your personal use.
You may not, without written permission:
- reproduce substantial Program content;
- distribute Program materials;
- upload Program materials to other websites or file-sharing services;
- provide Program content to another person;
- upload substantial Program content into an external AI system;
- resell or sublicense Program materials;
- create competing commercial materials substantially derived from Trek-Ready;
- scrape, systematically extract, or archive Program content; or
- bypass Program access restrictions.
17. Acceptable Website Use
You may not use this website, ITT accounts, or online programs to:
- gain unauthorized access;
- interfere with website security or operation;
- distribute malware;
- scrape or automatically extract content at unreasonable scale;
- impersonate another person;
- commit fraud;
- misuse payment systems;
- abuse the Trek-Ready Assistant;
- circumvent access controls; or
- engage in unlawful activity.
18. Program and Website Availability
ITT will make reasonable efforts to maintain the website and paid online products.
However, uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
Access may temporarily be affected by maintenance, hosting outages, third-party service outages, internet disruption, software updates, cybersecurity incidents, technical faults, or circumstances outside ITT’s reasonable control.
ITT may change the technologies used to provide the website or Program.
19. Changes to Trek-Ready
ITT may update Trek-Ready over time as training knowledge, ITT practices, technology, customer needs, or the Program itself evolves.
Content, exercises, support tools, layouts, and other Program components may change.
Your access is to the Program as ITT operates it over time, not necessarily the exact version that existed on the date of purchase.
20. Suspension or Revocation
ITT may suspend or revoke access for legitimate reasons including:
- fraud;
- chargeback abuse;
- account sharing;
- unauthorized redistribution;
- attempts to circumvent access controls;
- security threats;
- misuse of ITT systems; or
- material violations of these Terms.
Where reasonable, ITT may attempt to resolve an issue before permanently revoking access.
A refund does not automatically determine whether Program access will remain available. ITT may separately determine access where appropriate.
21. Refunds
Trek-Ready purchases and other immediately delivered digital or online products are generally non-refundable once access has been provided, unless otherwise stated.
ITT will reasonably address genuine transaction problems such as:
- duplicate charges;
- incorrect charges;
- material access failures; or
- obvious transaction errors.
Additional details appear in ITT’s Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits a consumer right that applicable law does not permit ITT to waive.
22. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may use or link to third-party services including payment processors, mapping services, analytics providers, communications services, social networks, video platforms, booking-related services, and other technology providers.
ITT is not responsible for the independent content, availability, security, or privacy practices of third-party websites and services.
Your use of a third-party service may also be governed by that provider’s own terms.
23. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability
You understand that exercise, hiking, trekking preparation, and related physical activities involve inherent risks.
You voluntarily decide whether and how to participate and accept responsibility for choosing activities appropriate to your health, fitness, experience, equipment, environment, and circumstances.
ITT does not supervise your self-directed Trek-Ready training, evaluate your individual condition, or control the location or environment in which you train.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ian Taylor Trekking, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or Trek-Ready.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited.
24. Privacy
Your use of the website and ITT online services is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
25. Governing Law and Severability
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent legally permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
26. Changes to These Terms
ITT may update these Terms from time to time.
The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
Where appropriate, material changes affecting existing paid-program users may also be communicated through the website, account area, or email.
27. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with policies expressly incorporated by reference and any applicable trip- or product-specific agreement, govern your use of the applicable ITT services.
A Trek-Ready purchase does not book an ITT trip and does not replace any trip booking agreement, participant release, insurance requirement, or other trip documentation.
