International Tourism Award for Ian Taylor Trekking

It has been 12 years in the making, but we have being recognized in Nepal for running quality treks and trips across the region. Ian Taylor Trekking have been awarded an International Tourism Award in 2019. Our head Guide on Kilimanjaro was recognized this week as being the best guide out of 600 guides on Mount Kilimanjaro in 2019 which is amazing for him and our team as a whole.

We are aiming to run the best itineraries with the best acclimatization giving people the best and safest trips in Nepal. We have limited numbers on treks to a maximum of 10 people. For every group of 10 we have 4 guides per group.

We also have more acclimatization on our trips with 3 nights in Namche Bazaar at and from 2021 we are changing our Everest Base Camp Itineraries to having 2 nights in Namche and an additional night in Khumjung and Phortse in support of these two villages who receive less people. We will still have 2 nights in Dingbouche and one additional night on the way down in Tengbouche to break up the long day from Pheriche to Namche.

We want to thank our amazing staff in Nepal. They deserve this reward for all their hard work leading back to back trips in the Annapurna and Everest regions each season. We hope you will join our team in Nepal and experience the difference in our quality trips. We have full time staff on the ground year round in support of your adventure. Look forward to hearing from you.
