Climbing Kilimanjaro is not for Tourists

Please do not arrive on Mount Kilimanjaro with no preparation. You need to be able to walk 44.2 miles at high and extreme altitude sometimes with 50% less oxygen in your blood stream and 50% less oxygen going to your muscles when you need it. You start hiking from (2,250m / 7,382 feet) going up to (5,895m /19,341 feet) covering about (5,000m / 16,500 feet) vertical elevation gain on the way to the summit and dropping down (2,795m /  9,170 feet) in one day from the summit of Kilimanjaro to Mweka camp will take it’s toll on your body.
