1). We have a 7 full time staff members on the ground in Nepal. This gives us far more consistency in our service on the ground. 2). We support and helped establish the Goli Village Trust in Nepal, giving help, support to children, families and this remote community in Nepal. We have built two schools in the Goli region and we have placed stoves in 60 homes. We continue to support this this village where a lot of our staff come from. We pay our staff correctly and do not over load them with weight. We use Yaks to carry all the loads where possible and we do not cut corners on any aspects of our treks or climbs. 4). We offer personal service with training advice 5 days a week. A lot of people underestimate the trek to Everest and rely on Helicopters to get them out. This is becoming more and more challenging. There are some long 8+ hour days covering over 20km with over 700m./ 2,296 feet of up and down hill on steps or stairs while on the trail. 9). Quality North Face tents. We use quality tents on all our trekking and mountaineering itineraries in Peru. We have single tent options and we have new North Face tents every two years for you to enjoy. Most of our Everest Treks are in the best lodges. You and your group can chose to camp all the way.
10). All hotel rooms are included in the cost of our trip. We include 2 hotel nights at our 4 star hotel in Thamel. 1 night before your trek and 1 night hotel on a shared basis after your trek. 11). All beds come with pillow and comforter in the lodges we use on route to Mount Everest. We want you to be comfortable on the trail. Sleeping is an important part of the acclimatization process. Getting to bed early and getting as much rest as possible is really important.
12). We provide you with organic hand wash in all the lodges on your trek to Everest. Hygiene is really important for a safe and successful journey into the Everest region. 15). We use yaks for all our treks to Everest. The Yaks will carry up to 15kg of your personal gear on the trail. We will send you our 45 page dossier covering all aspects of the trip. 16). We bring you to a quality farewell dinner at one of the best restaurants in Kathmandu. I like Fire and Ice Pizza, they also serve amazing mojito’s. This meal is included in the trip. You will be presented with your Everest Base Camp certificate of achievement and we will enjoy a beautiful meal before heading back to the hotel or a night out on the town.
17). We support projects in all the areas we operate in. In giving we receive. After Climbing Mount Everest to the summit, a friend and I raised enough money to built the Mount Everest Primary school. In the Kilimanjaro area we support an orphanage for children in need. In Nepal we have built two schools and helping the Goli Village Trust which we helped establish with our team in Nepal.
18). If you want learn about the Sherpa people you have to hang out with Sherpa people. Sit and ask questions. We only work with Sherpa staff we know and follow our strict instruction on how to manage our trips. All our tour guides are Sherpa and have 10+ years leading trips and trekking all the trails we use in the Everest region.
19). We only work with small group sizes. The maximum number of people per team will be 10 people. Most of our groups are 6,8 or 10 people, giving you are more personalized experience on the trail to Everest Base Camp. You can move as a team and experience more of this world class trail.
