Ian Taylor on Everest

If you have never been to one of my Everest presentations and interested in Everest climbers perspective on the mountain, movie and small insight on Everest.  Watch this interview i did with Hannah Shields in Dublin last month for the Everest movie.

I have written a little bit about my experience climbing high on Everest and climbing Everest in general. Most people don’t care about Everest or listen to me talk about Everest, that’s fine. People will argue their view it as some commercial mountain that hold’s no value. That is fine but try and view it has a mountain of hope and change. It can change a life, it can take a life. Everest gives us the chance to be better for ourselves and the people around us. It certainly changed my life for the better and continues to do so.

I am lucky enough to lead treks to Everest base camp, Kilimanjaro, Island peak, Mera peak and speak internationally about my unique Everest journey.

As I say in the interview, I don’t see myself climbing Everest again. I have proven to myself all I need to prove. I have learned key lessons and try and apply them to my live. I continue to support Fields of Life who we built the Mt. Everest primary school with. I am also committed to helping the village of Goli in Nepal after it was destroyed by recent earthquakes. Everest has given me a chance to help others along with leading groups and people to experience their Everest and climb mountains around the world.

If you would like to hire Ian to speak at your event and hear more from Ian Taylor on Everest or join him trekking around the world. Drop him an e-mail and we can set up a time to talk.
