I have to say Patagonia gets more appealing the more I travel there. There is a wide range of trekking options in Patagonia. For me trekking in the Torres Del Paine national park has it all. From Cerro Grande 3,050m/ 10,006 feet, the stunning French valley and the famous Torres Towers on the front side are amazing. Yes, there are challenges with reservations, spaces available especially on the back side of the park. You should be planning your reservations 6 plus months in advance. A year ahead would be best.

For me the highlights are on the full circuit trek of Torres Del Paine. The walk from Seron to Dickson it truly magical if the weather is right. The views of stokes and Cerro Ohnet mountain 1,930m/ 6,332 feet from the beach at Dickson is magical.

On our last trip we witnessed a large iceberg crack in half and turn upside down. It truly was a magical sight to behold. You will literally have your breath taken away on this tough 13.6m/ 22km hike from Los Perros to Grey Camp ground. Check out our TOP 10 TIPS.

For me the highlight is the boat ride along the length of lake Grey. The mountains views are world class, but the close up views of the glacier are a moment you will never forget. The ride back all the way along the lake gives you the perfect end to a long 90-mile trek. You can stand in awe of the miraculous geological wonder of the world. This is weather dependent.
