Skiing the full distance to the South Pole is challenging, dangerous and difficult. Skiing unsupported on a new uncharted route, navigating untraveled crevasse fields and mountains ranges is the next level. We will cover 1,300km over 60 days in freezing temperature in one of the harshest places on the planet. This is going to be the challenge of a lifetime. We are a small team of 4 people looking to make this unsupported new historic route and journey starting in November 2017.
A new route to the south pole will test us to the limit. We have been training in Norway. In March we will make a Svalbard crossing, journeying from east to west. We will undertake Alpine team training, winter cold training and we hope to complete the classic polar Greenland crossing in May 2017.
Navigating miles of uncharted crevasse fields and ski over 1,300km’s to the south pole and filming a feature length film has never been done before. If you want to help us make this happen then get in touch today. Through exposure and the film we hope to raise awareness of a range of education projects worldwide. Join our support team today.
