Climb Mount Hood

Mt. Hood in the Pacific Northwest of the United States in Northern Oregon is located in the Cascade Mountains. It is located about 50 miles (80 km) east of the city of Portland.Mt. Hood stands at 11,235 ft (3,424 m). The mountain is considered dormant. Mt Hood, is the highest mountain in Oregonand fourth highest mountain in the cascades and the highest. Mt. Rainierin Washington state 14,411 ft (4,392 m) is the highest mountain and another you might consider straight after Mt. Hood. We run a 3 day program including instruction and alpine skills for snow and glacier travel. Our aim is to give you knowledge of mountaineering skills which you can apply on other peaks. After the two days of instruction you will go for the summit via one of the south side routes up Mt. Hood. This will all depend on weather, ability and snow conditions. We offer courses in May, June and July.
